Advanced Fraud Protection - Secure is the New Sexy...
Axcess provides you with an extensive set of powerful anti-fraud tools to protect both you and your customers. We offer you peace of mind, knowing you have the highest level of protection when trading online.
Our dedicated anti-fraud team will protect you with the help of the following anti-fraud tools:
Address Verification (AVS):
When a customer makes a purchase on your site, our Address Verification System will verify the address of the person claiming to be the cardholder by checking the billing address they provide with the one online at the credit card company.
Card Security Code (CV2, CVC2 or CID):
You will probably know card security code (also known as CV2, CVC2 or CID) as the three digit number on the back of a credit or debit card. In card not present transactions where a PIN cannot be used, the CV2 is used as a security feature to identify the cardholder.
Also known as Verified by Visa and Mastercard Secure Code, 3D Secure is an additional layer of security used in card not present transactions.
Blacklisting and whitelisting:
We use data such as IP address, BIN range and credit card number to place customers on a blacklist or a whitelist. This way, we can automatically block untrustworthy customers and reward your best customers with more convenient transactions. As well as individuals we can blacklist and whitelist by company, industry or country.
Geo-location services and device fingerprinting:
We use geolocation and device fingerprinting to make sure your customers are where and who they say they are.
Velocity checks protecting you by detect purchase behaviour that is out of the ordinary and could suggest criminal behaviour, such as a large order of a product that an average consumer would normally only purchase one of.
TC40 and SAFE alerts to manage reported fraud levels:
A TC 40 message is created by the card issuer when they believe fraud has occurred, advising the details of the fraud.
